Where else in the world would you see Old Glory and the Hawai'i flag a-flying in gorgeous tradewinds on a beautiful day ~ from palm trees!? This shot was taken on Kailua Beach. Lucky we live in paradise!

This is Gig Harbor's founding week-end....so we've got maritime festivals all week-end. It's rainining today, so we started out bu me staying home with Annie bug so the big kids could go to the parade ("it's only sprinkling!")
