Okay. Our hayden Mango tree had enough firm-ripe mangoes to make 11 1/2 pints of chutney. Followed Liz Lee's recipe but used dark raisins not yellow -- think it made a difference but not bad. Here's what everyone needs to know: Candied/Crystallized ginger available at R. Field's at Foodland ... not Safeway, not Daiei (except with li hing mui). Apparently very little call for it.
